RSSNewser is a program that will enable you to stay up-to-date with your favorite websites by subscribing to their RSS feeds. The program doesn't provide unique features, but it introduces the basic features of all other RSS tools in a unique manner. This is because it only has a simple vertical rectangular window that displays your latest headlines on a collapse/expand form. The 'favicon' of the producer of each feed is displayed before it; so you can recognize the feed source. A delete button is displayed on each feed so you can easily delete it from the form and you can simply delete all read feeds with a single mouse click.
By configuring the program's settings, you can choose multiple RSS feeds to display from the already loaded feeds and add your own favorite feeds. Additionally, you can set the maximum number of news to retrieve from each source and the time these news should be deleted after.
The program notifies you of newly found news using two methods; the sound notification, which is optional and limited to one -somewhat annoying - sound and the message box notification which can also be disabled using the program's settings.
